My name is Aleksander Kozera, and I am a Polish ceramicist based in Warsaw, where I run Yird Studio.

My creative journey began long before I discovered ceramics. Over the years, I explored a wide range of applied arts, including lighting design, digital modeling, 3D printing, and working with natural materials like woodworking and furniture design. However, ceramics has always amazed me with its beauty. In 2019, I found the confidence to work with porcelain, a material that is both beautiful and challenging.

Today, I combine all of these skills to design and create my ceramic pieces. My process starts with 3D modeling, followed by 3D printing master forms, which I use to craft plaster molds for slip-casting porcelain tableware.

I find endless inspiration in nature and architecture, drawing on their colors, structures, and patterns. These elements guide me in creating ceramics that are simple yet thoughtfully designed, blending aesthetic beauty with everyday functionality.

Thank you for taking the time to visit Yird Studio. I hope my work brings a sense of beauty and comfort into your daily rituals.
